Salary: 126,100 - 227,950 USD per year Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred in STEM or a relevant field, or comparable experience with an additional 12 years, or a Master's degree with 10 years of overall related experience.
• Additional years of related work experience may be substituted for a degree at our discretion.
• Currently possess and maintain an active DoD Secret security clearance; Top Secret clearance is preferred.
• Exceptional written and oral communications skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical managers and customers.
• Strong problem-solving, creative thinking, and time management skills.
• Minimum of DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II Certification required prior to onboarding and must maintain certification while supporting the SMIT Contract. Valid certifications include CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA Security, or ISC2 Systems Security Certified Professional.
• Expert knowledge of multi-discipline wireless technologies and architecture, including WLAN and 4G/5G public/private solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of WLAN and mobile networking concepts, platforms, management tools, and applications.
• Knowledge of Radio Access Networks, 5G, private LTE, and emerging mobile networking technologies.
• Knowledge of Inside/Outside Plant Infrastructure and Network Infrastructure Solution Space.
• In-depth understanding of TCP/IP networking, ports, protocols, and the OSI model.
• Experienced in developing and maintaining technical documents, analyses, and reports.
• Experience presenting to client stakeholders and company management.
• Ability to travel (local and long distance) 0-25%, including the possibility of OCONUS travel.

Responsibilities:

• I report directly to the Program Chief Architect and collaborate with a team of Domain Architects and Engineers across multiple IT disciplines to achieve our customer's mission.
• I apply my multi-faceted Wireless subject matter expertise in WLAN, Mobile 4G/5G Public/Private Networking, and deep knowledge of Passive Infrastructure to one of the largest private Intranets in the world.
• I lead the development of wireless WLAN and 4G/5G mobile networking solutions and strategies.
• I demonstrate my knowledge and application of DoD and Naval network policies and directives.
• I work collaboratively with the Architecture and Engineering teams to conduct trade studies/analysis of alternatives that support WLAN, mobile 4G/5G networking, and network infrastructure architecture concepts; I design, develop, and analyze products and capabilities.
• I identify innovative technology and solution roadmaps to improve mission enterprise capabilities, resulting in increased contract growth and improved customer satisfaction.
• I partner with the SMIT PMO team in supporting the shaping and development of technical solutions to sell to customers, RFP technical solution development, white paper development, aggressive technical leadership, innovative thinking in the development of new business strategies, and on-contract growth, as well as assessing and recommending current and future wireless WLAN, mobile 4G/5G networking, and network infrastructure related skills, opportunities, and technology needs.
• I evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and processes to ensure successful customer outcomes.
• I provide technical guidance, strategy, mentoring, and leadership to program team members, encouraging innovative solutions to solve complex customer problems.

This is an exciting opportunity to utilize my experience and leadership skills to successfully execute the mission of the Navy’s largest IT services program: SMIT. Under the SMIT Contract, the Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, network engineering, service desk, and data transport. Ultimately, we will support the Navy in unifying its shore-based networks and data management to improve capability and service while also saving significant dollars by consolidating efforts under one enterprise network. Pay Range: $126,100.00 - $227,950.00
