Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Mortgage Loan Originator for the California market. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build relationships, grow your network, and make a direct impact on helping customers achieve their homeownership goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop leads and originate mortgage loans through branches, realtors, and builders.
Interview mortgage loan applicants to understand their needs and guide them through the loan process.
Take loan applications from customers and assist in collecting necessary documentation.
Collaborate with centralized loan support areas to ensure smooth processing of applicant files.
Respond to referrals from branch personnel and other sources, ensuring timely follow-up and support.
Assist with gathering additional data or information as needed by processors to finalize applications.
Cross-sell other banking products and services to deepen relationships with customers and provide a comprehensive experience.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred. An MBA or Master's Degree is a plus.
A minimum of 2 years of lending experience is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to exercise independent judgment.
Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and able to maintain composure in stressful situations.
Flexibility to work hours as needed to meet business demands.
