The Broadcast Associate will be responsible for various production tasks to support our studio coverage. Responsibilities include coordinating graphics on studio shows, as well as sport-specific research, especially CBS Sports Golazo Network, Men’s & Women’s UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Serie A, EFL, NWSL, and CONCACAF. The Broadcast Associate will also obtain, organize, and log video footage for use in shows and other production elements.
This is a Freelance position based in Stamford, CT. Non-traditional hours, nights, weekends, and holidays are to be expected, with some travel as needed.
Responsibilities: - Act as Graphics/Font Coordinator on studio shows across our various soccer properties
- Research newsworthy events related to all our soccer properties
- Collaborate on high-end graphic and visual ideas for talent and studio coverage
- Create graphics, storylines, and breaking news for our soccer coverage
- Support our productions as needed through tape support, logging, transcribing and light editing
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience in sports (internships or full-time)
- Hands-on experience working on a variety of sporting events (control room experience a plus)
- Knowledge of the entire men’s & women’s soccer landscape and able to think outside the box visually
- High knowledge of soccer, both internationally and domestically
- Able to work under tight deadlines and handle a high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a teamwork environment
- Bilingual abilities are a plus

Additional Information Hiring Salary Range: $21.0 - 25.0.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
