Salary: 112,450 - 203,275 USD per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a candidate with 12+ years of experience in VoIP/SIP/SBC engineering, network engineering, or telecom infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot SIP, VoIP, and integration issues. Experience in enterprise VoIP environments and managing route changes is essential. The candidate should be skilled in writing technical documentation, designing network diagrams, and providing team training. Additionally, familiarity with configuring Active/Standby SBC clusters, load balancing, and failover, as well as knowledge of geo-redundancy and SIP trunk failover strategies, is required. The candidate should also have experience troubleshooting packet loss, jitter, and latency issues using tools such as Wireshark. A strong understanding of IP networking (including QoS, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, and DNS), excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and expertise with Ribbon SBCs are also necessary. Familiarity with telephony routing, virtual machine cloud platforms, and working knowledge of Linux/UNIX/VMware ESXi vSphere is expected. Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals, basic IP routing, firewalls, switches, and security is also important.

Responsibilities:

• In this role, I will leverage my technical background to understand customer goals and identify the best integration solutions for their needs. My responsibilities will include performing customer system integration by following instructions and executing processes, testing and troubleshooting configurations to ensure successful integration, and effectively communicating with customers during and after the integration process. I will be involved in authoring and updating documentation, identifying configuration errors, and checking appropriate log files to debug issues. Moreover, I will manage SBC NMS EMS Protect/Analytics PKI certificates.

At Leidos, we are currently seeking a subject matter expert in Session Border Controllers (SBCs) to join our Digital Modernization Sector. This position supports the DISA Defense Red Switch Network team, focusing on an enterprise VoIP management system for the GSM-O II contract at Fort Meade, MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of SBCs and their management systems within a dynamic program. As part of our team, I will interact with both technical and non-technical individuals, including customers and vendors, but primarily with our expert teammates. My role will involve providing technical assistance, administering configurations, upgrading software, developing documentation, ensuring compliance with STIGs, conducting testing, recommending enhancements, and troubleshooting various issues related to sub-systems and network components.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this position is $112,450.00 - $203,275.00. Please note that this range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Factors such as responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, market alignment, and applicable agreements will be considered when extending an offer.
