Job Description

We are seeking a Training Specialist on behalf of our client, a well-established financial institution. This role is responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining employee training programs that enhance workforce skills, support compliance, and drive business success. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services training and a passion for employee development.

• Develop and conduct training programs for employees, including monthly sessions and sales training.
• Create, update, and enhance training materials, curriculum, and procedures to align with business objectives.
• Manage the organization’s online training platform and oversee the implementation of training plans.
• Assist with internal audits by providing necessary training documentation and compliance support.
• Support HR administrative tasks, including employee development initiatives.
• Collaborate with leadership to assess training effectiveness and adjust programs as needed.
• Participate in business development presentations and community outreach initiatives.

• Education: Associate degree or specialized certification/training required.
• Experience: 1-3 years in training, employee development, or a related field.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in financial services, credit unions, or banking preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with training platforms such as Symitar, Meridian Link, Velera, or Candescent is a plus.
  • Ability to develop training strategies that engage and motivate employees.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to function in a financial institution environment with standard office equipment.
• Some travel may be required for training sessions and professional development events.
• Ability to lift or pull up to 25 pounds (e.g., training materials, file boxes).
