Job Summary
The Ellison Medical Institute is seeking a talented and passionate contract employee to join its team from February 2025 to April 2025. As part of the Institute, the primary purpose of this position is to advance the development of a blood-brain-barrier (BBB) organ on chip model system to be used in our drug development pipeline.

Job Accountabilities:

• Establish BBB organ-chip protocol.  Work closely with a cross-functional team to optimize a model system to test drug penetrance into the brain. 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Required Education: Master's degree in biological sciences, engineering, or related fields.
Required Field of Expertise: 5 years of research experience in molecular/cellular biology or other relevant disciplines. Advanced mammalian tissue culture techniques (2D cell lines, iPSC-derived cell lines) and experience with organ on chip systems.

Hourly Rate: DOE, $45.57-$55.57
