Job Description:
Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance data pipelines using Python and SQL.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to integrate machine learning models into production environments.
Develop and manage large-scale ETL/ELT workflows on cloud and on-premise data platforms.
Optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for performance and efficiency.
Build data quality frameworks, monitoring tools, and anomaly detection mechanisms.
Participate in architectural design discussions and decision-making.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership in projects.
Document design decisions, solutions, and maintain code quality through reviews and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
8 12 years of hands-on experience in Python development with a strong focus on data engineering.
Advanced proficiency in SQL (performance tuning, stored procedures, data modeling).
Experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Airflow, Luigi, or custom Python scripts.
Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and services like S3, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Data Factory.
Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with streaming data technologies (Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc.).
Exposure to MLOps practices and tools (MLflow, TFX, SageMaker).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Data Engineer, Google Cloud Professional ML Engineer) is a plus
