Summary

Tenney Preschool and Childcare is seeking to fill a part-time float position for afternoon support. TPC is a nonprofit, family-focused, 5-star, City of Madison Accredited early childhood education program in Madison, WI with experience caring for children in our community since 1979. We value mutual respect, collaboration, and a growth-mindset.

Duties

• Assist in day to day activities
• Implement positive guidance strategies
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Facilitate high quality interactions

Requirements

• At least 1 year in an early childhood education setting
• Willingness to complete required basic training
• Ability to work well with others
• Strong communication
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Understand child development
