Job Title : Network Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Manager to oversee and maintain our organization's network infrastructure. This is an onsite position based in Suffolk, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network systems to ensure efficient and reliable connectivity. Candidates must hold relevant certifications and be comfortable undergoing a background check.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, intranets, and extranets.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems, to protect sensitive data.
• Develop and execute disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Manage user access, system permissions, and network configurations.
• Lead a team of network professionals, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Collaborate with vendors to procure network equipment and negotiate contracts.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Stay updated on current network technology trends and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent).
• Proven experience in network management and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, architecture, and security measures.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Suffolk, VA.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based networking solutions.
• Familiarity with network diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Strong communication and team management abilities.
