Salary: 112,450 - 203,275 USD per year Requirements:

• I have experience administering and managing F5 load balancer appliances in an enterprise environment.
• I possess knowledge of standards, concepts, and tools necessary for technology monitoring and management of F5 appliances.
• I have technical knowledge backing up PKI certificates and appliance configurations.
• I am proficient in creating, managing, and troubleshooting load balanced IP address spaces.
• I can work independently to support customer requirements.
• I have experience interfacing with team members on requirements and solutions.
• I am familiar with IT Service Management products such as ServiceNow.
• I hold an F5 Certified Administrator (201) or higher certification.
• I meet DoDM 8140.03 (previously DoD 8570) IT System Admin Intermediate certification requirements (Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+ CE, GSEC, or higher).
• I have a Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 10 years of experience. Education equivalencies of an Associate’s degree with 14 years of related experience or a High School Diploma with 16 years of related experience can be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Due to the nature of our government contracts, I must be a U.S. Citizen.
• I require a TS/SCI with Poly clearance for this position or a TS/SCI willingness to obtain and maintain a polygraph.

Responsibilities:

• I will ensure Secure Socket Layer/Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) offloading and brokering PKI authentication features provided by the F5 appliance are operational at all times.
• I will back up load balancing configurations and PKI certificates in accordance with customer policies.
• I will alert load balancing and reverse proxy customers prior to PKI certificate expiration and assist with certificate renewals as necessary.
• I will create, manage, and troubleshoot load balanced IP address spaces.
• I will develop and implement technical solutions in partnership with engineers and architects.
• I will provide after-hours support to 24/7/365 IT Operations Center personnel to assist with troubleshooting service outages.
• I will develop and update technical solutions, operating procedures, and other documentation for IT Operations Center personnel to assist with initial troubleshooting and triage efforts.
