Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Remote (Canada only)
Type: 6+ months
Experience Required: 10+ years

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver high-impact initiatives within a dynamic, fully remote environment. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle - from initiation and planning through to execution and post-delivery evaluation - ensuring that initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, distributed team setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, resource plans, and communication strategies

  • Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless execution

  • Lead project meetings and proactively communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders

  • Manage budgets, track expenditures, and recommend changes as needed

  • Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and critical paths

  • Monitor and track project milestones and deliverables with precision

  • Adjust project scope, schedules, and resources as needed in response to evolving business needs

  • Conduct project retrospectives and post-mortems; document lessons learned and process improvements

  • Ensure adherence to internal project management methodologies and best practices

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in project management (preferably in IT, Financial Services, or Software Development)

  • Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional projects in a remote work environment

  • Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, Asana, MS Project

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and adaptable to change

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or SAFe certification

  • Experience in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies

  • Familiarity with budget forecasting and vendor management

  • Experience in banking, insurance, or financial technology industries
