Regional Sales Manager
Position Overview The Regional Sales Manager will oversee sales operations within the designated region, driving revenue growth and expanding market share. This role requires a strategic leader who can foster relationships, understand customer needs, and effectively communicate the value of our HVAC and Building Automation Systems solutions.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Manage and lead a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance and growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the HVAC and building automation sector.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in the industry.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on HVAC systems, control systems, and building automation solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing and distribution teams to develop effective promotional strategies and materials.
- Analyze sales data and metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead commissioning and start-up processes to ensure successful installation and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues related to HVAC systems and building automation.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in the HVAC or building automation industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, control systems, building automation systems, and related technologies.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing sales teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Experience with BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, MSTP, and wiring diagrams is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data quantitatively to make informed decisions.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in technical support, coaching, and training team members.
- Familiarity with engineered product manufacturing and marketing strategies is a plus.
