This is a full-time hybrid role for a Full Stack Java Developer at Truth Technologies, Inc. in Naples, FL. Expect to be ONSITE 2-3 days per week.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Java Developer with AWS experience to maintain and develop our existing Java-based applications, design and implement AWS cloud infrastructure, and contribute to automation and DevOps initiatives. This role blends application development, infrastructure management, and system automation to deliver scalable, efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop existing Java-based applications.
• Design, maintain, and implement AWS infrastructure and automation.
• Deploy updates and bug fixes to production environments.
• Develop and integrate performance, regression, and security testing into the workflow.
• Build tools to manage and triage code contributions, automate configuration, and optimize infrastructure deployment.
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors and technical issues.
• Develop internal tools to reduce errors and improve customer experience.
• Provide technical support to the Helpdesk team when necessary.
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
• Analyze application usage data to provide UI improvement insights.
• Integrate new data vendors, sources, and services into existing applications.
• Provide in-depth documentation for new and existing projects.
• Contribute to the forecasting and planning of IT infrastructure needs.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to best practices, and mentor junior team members as appropriate.
• Participate actively in Scrum Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure collaborative and iterative development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of experience in Java development (experience with JavaScript, NodeJS is a plus).
• 3-4 years of experience with Linux, Bash scripting, Python (system administration experience is an advantage).
• 3-4 years of experience with relational databases (Oracle experience preferred).
• 1-2 years of experience with AWS, including setting up, maintaining, and evolving cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline).
• Experience working with event-driven architectures (Kafka, SNS/SQS).
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving mindset, and the ability to work independently.
• A team-oriented personality, willing to integrate into a small, agile team and take on new tasks proactively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certification (AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Solutions Architect).
• Experience with serverless computing and AWS Lambda.
• Exposure to full-stack development (React, Angular, or Vue.js) is a plus.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or AWS CloudWatch.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Salary Range:

$75,000 to $100,000
