Job Description

**Responsibilities** The Emergency Department nurse provides immediate care to patients experiencing acute illnesses or injuries, rapidly assessing their conditions and initiating life-saving interventions. They work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to stabilize patients, administer medications, and prepare them for further treatment or admission. **Qualifications** **Minimum:** + Current California RN license + One (1) year of experience as an Emergency Department RN within the last five (5) years. (exception - when staffing is able to accommodate training management will consider RNs with less experience). + BLS certification + ACLS certification (or within 3 months of hire) + PALS certification (or within 3 months of hire) + Must obtain NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire **Overview** Dignity Health Woodland Memorial Hospital is Yolo County's largest health care provider, serving the community since 1905.
