Role Summary & Location

A Business Intelligence Analyst at Acuity Brands enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement and sourcing departments through expert use of business systems. They're the go-to authority for the functionality of Acuity's SMART by GEP source-to-pay software. The position includes conducting training sessions, overseeing the usage and performance of the tool, and collaborating with tech partners to advance and refine system workflows and features consistently. 

This role works remotely (from the U.S.) and travels based on business needs.

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Support sourcing event creation and execution
• System and process management and enhancement, including Procure to Pay and Contract Management
• Other duties assigned based on business needs 

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree is required, ideally from a related field including Business, Supply Chain, and Accounting
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a global sourcing, purchasing, or supply-chain support organization is required
• ERP or Source-to-Pay proficiency is required, ideally from planning, sourcing, or purchasing environments (SMART by GEP preferred)
• Robust analytical skills are required to identify and address the underlying causes of complex issues
• Experience managing the complexities of direct material procurement and indirect categories with different commodities is highly preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Word is required
• Experience with MS Access, PowerBI, or other query/reporting systems is preferred
• Available to travel based on business needs

The range for this position is $64,300.00   to $115,700.00 . Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
