DACK Consulting is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support our Project Executive and Project Manager in the successful direction, execution, and financial performance of major construction projects. This is a critical, hands-on role that requires strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing the full lifecycle of construction projects from planning to close-out Foster strong relationships with owners, architects/engineers, and subcontractors Ensure compliance with contract drawings, specifications, and project objectives Prepare and coordinate RFIs, submittals, and maintain thorough project documentation Represent the client in meetings with owners, A/E teams, and subcontractors, including drafting minutes Track and manage long-lead items to ensure on-time delivery Prepare change orders and assist with negotiations Help compile and manage monthly requisitions for both clients and subcontractors Maintain organized logs for RFIs, submittals, change orders, bulletins, sketches, inspections, etc. Support procurement and buyout processes for project success Provide input for monthly schedule updates in collaboration with the scheduling team Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or closely related field) + 2 years of relevant experience Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (or closely related field) Strong understanding of construction documentation and workflows Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills Familiarity with construction scheduling and long-lead item tracking Benefits Include: Competitive base salary of $131,518/year Comprehensive benefits package Career development opportunities in a dynamic, team-driven environment
